WebAnswer (1 of 4): Yes you can there are missions in the story mode and the online mode where you rob a bank. You can not just go up to a bank and hold it up though it would have to be through a mission or in a heist on online. WebWell, you can still rob 24/7 shops in GTA V proper. But i guess they wanted to hold a few things back, so you're not just doing everything you done in the main game again, only with friends. Which is a pretty good strategy, because now I'm excited to see what else they may have put in there that isn't in the main game.
