WebNov 2, 2024 · The wrong solution: Before new rest time settings, Chitubox always had (still have) the light-off delay, that field is always a confusion and a trouble/hard to set, as it's not a raw value it requires manual calculations or a calculator to properly set. Light-off delay = time to lift + time to retract + the desired wait time.

WebI am currently working with a Mars 2 Pro and using chitubox to slice my prints. The time of the print I had was estimated to be 6 hours and 21 minutes. When it finished, it had worked for 7 hours and 55 minutes. Why is chitubox so off with the time and is there any wat to make it more accurate overall? 13 comments 100% Upvoted WebI'm guessing the time calculation was based off the exposure time of the first few base layers and not taking into account the lower values for the rest of the print. WebChitubox has been weird for me. The time estimate would be around 4 hours for a print, but when i would go print it, the printer would estimate 8 hours. But when i used photon workshop it also showed 4 hours. And when i went to print it showed 4 hours as well. Been using photon workshop since then. Undeaddroo • 1 yr. ago

None of the prints failed on anything other than scaling issues, and other than telling Chitubox what size to print I have no control over this.
