For new NPPs under construction, such a special HRA method can support the safety analysis and management in commissioning. Weblimitations of current HRA models and in particular issues related to intra- and inter-method variabilities, and update the technical basis underlying HRA. In supporting IDHEAS development, the authors conducted a literature review to synthesize the current understanding of human cognition into a technical basis for HRA.
