Also, with alloy nipples its a good idea to get spokes about 1mm longer than suggested so more of the spoke goes in the "bulb" of the nipple and they are less likely to snap the nipples. brian. If you have shop access, put the wheel in the stand and blow compressed air into the tread. It makes an awesome (f1 engine) noise and will spin the wheel 10x faster than by hand!
