Utilisation of vascularised tissue in the primary repair process of sphenoid CSF leaks is yet to be well explored in the literature. WebTwo patients with cavernous hemangiomas of the sphenoid sinus are presented, both of whom died of complications associated with the diagnostic biopsy. A review of the available routine and special diagnostic tests is presented. The importance of an awareness of vascular tumors in this region is stressed. Original language.
